Emmanuel Apostolic Church is a dynamic and vibrant God-centered church that seeks to connect people to Jesus Christ and to each other, embrace their membership within God’s family, develop them for their purpose in the world, in order to glorify God’s name.

The group sought direction from God concerning the ministry by fasting every third Saturday, at the former Forum Hotel. Shortly thereafter, we had our first Sunday service in the Passage Fort Community Centre. God began to bless the ministry, which by then had quickly expanded and had outgrown the facilities at the Community Centre. In 1994, the church made its first application to the government for a parcel of land on which to construct a permanent sanctuary.

Owing to the delay in our request being granted, other facilities were sought, and in 1996 the Portmore H.E.A.R.T. Academy graciously allowed us to use its auditorium for services. The membership continued to grow, and by 1998, there were over 300 members. Unfortunately, that year we had to leave that facility.#EmmanuelApostolicChurch
